Orange County, CA – 17 Year Old Driver Runs Red Light In Anaheim, CA, Killing Two and Injuring Others in Fatal Car Accident
On Friday March 20, a teenage driver sped through a red light, crashing his white Dodge Charger into a Honda Civic. The driver and front seat passenger in the Honda Civic were killed and pronounced dead at the scene of the car accident, and the passenger in the rear of Honda was transported to UCI Medical Center with serious injuries.
The car accident occurred at the intersection of Belinda Circle and Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim, CA at approximately 2 p.m., according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Shane Carringer.
The driver and passenger of the white Dodge Charger were both boys. Orange County authorities believe that drugs and speeding were both factors in the fatal accident. Police believe drugs and speeding were both factors in the deadly car accident. The teenage driver will most likely be arrested when he is released from the hospital for a DUI, speeding, and criminal charges that could include manslaughter. The teenage passenger in the Dodge Charger will not likely face criminal charges.
